Daylight Savings Time requires computer updates
Monday, March 5, 2007, 01:54 PM
In August of 2005, the United States Congress passed the Energy Policy Act. The Energy Policy Act changes the start dates and the end dates of daylight saving time (DST). When this law goes into effect in 2007, DST will start three weeks earlier on March 11, 2007 and end one week later on November 4, 2007. These dates are referred to in this article as the "extended DST period."

Microsoft Outlook 2003 Vulnerable to Critical IE Bug
Monday, September 25, 2006, 09:36 AM
A critical bug in the Internet Explorer (IE) browser also affects users of the Outlook 2003 e-mail client, making it much more serious than previously thought.

The vulnerability can be triggered when IE or Outlook 2003 processes Web-based graphics code written in the Vector Markup Language (VML).

We recommend all our clients do the following until Microsoft has released an update to the problem:

To turn on the Read all standard mail in plain text option, follow these steps:
1. Start Outlook 2003.
2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
3. On the Preferences tab, in the E-mail area, click E-mail Options.
4. In the Message handling area, click to select the Read all standard mail in plain text check box.
